Intervention for induced vomiting

• If voluntary,gagging is part of the behavioral –coping- repertoire of the baby

• E.g.

• Need for stimulation and amusement

• Need to entertain himself, an activity

• A soothing –self soothing behavior , calming

• May be a need to feel in control of self
